Stewardship is a lot more than money!
It includes everything that we do in life.   There are abundant opportunities in a Giving Ministry.  The first place we should learn to give is in our family.  Do we teach our children to whom to give?  We, as parents, need to involve our children in the decision-making process in order to teach them early the value of generosity.

We give our time and energy in acts of service
Have you ever delivered a meal to someone in need, visited a nursing home, or raked leaves for someone who was unable to do it?
These are all examples of giving from a loving heart.

We usually learn to give in service before
we learn to give our money in support of the church’s ministries.

We should give regularly and generously to the church through tithes
and offerings, but beyond church giving
we have opportunities to give to projects
such as foreign missions, local ministries, and other peoples in need.

We are free to give where the Lord leads us
and in the manner he wishes us to give.
Whether it is a financial gift
or one involving an act of service,
let’s listen to His message to us!

Let us generously give with loving hearts
whatever and wherever He would have us give.

As God shows us how to be good stewards,
let us give cheerfully.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart,
so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity:
for God loveth a cheerful giver.
